I started cutting hair as a happy accident initially. Myself and a friend were in dire need of haircuts and we decided to do it ourselves, this was 10 years ago.
Over the years, I’ve worked in various salons and barbershops, from high end salons to speedy budget barbers. The variety of work I have undertaken has given me a great set of skills to use in my career. One of which is having a great sense of timekeeping and speed whilst maintaining a quality service.
After completing an apprenticeship and gaining my barbering NVQ qualifications I started working for Piranha Hair Studio six years ago, since then I have grown both as a barber and a person.
The salon really does feel like home and my colleagues are family, as are many of our clients. I love my craft, I love my salon and I love my clients. This is what makes me a great barber.
